Free Tattoos & Family Fun

This year’s National Tattoo Day was one to remember!

Held on July 17, the day honors the ancient roots of tattooing — from Ötzi the Iceman’s carbon‑ink markings in 3250 BCE to modern innovations like the flash sheet—and celebrates the artistry and storytelling behind every design.

We partnered with our friends at Hard Rock Cafe Orlando to bring an unforgettable live tattoo experience to life—all in just one epic day.

Guests had the chance to receive free tattoos from a custom flash sheet, designed exclusively for the event by our skilled artists Jason, Chris, and Cool‑Aid. In just five hours, we knocked out an incredible 38 tattoos from within the Hard Rock Cafe building—a whirlwind tribute to tattoo culture on its dedicated national day.

Getting inked on National Tattoo Day isn’t just an event—it’s a tradition deeply rooted in celebration. Tattoo flash sheets have long been popular, offering clients small, pre‑drawn designs in a stylistic nod to tattooing history.

It wasn’t just about permanent ink—we made sure the littles were included too, with temporary tattoos and giveaways offering a fun, family‑friendly vibe.

A huge shoutout to the Hard Rock team for hosting us and helping bring this idea to life. Your energy turned a celebration into a community spectacle!

From ancient traditions—like sailors marking milestones and Ötzi’s therapeutic body art, to electric machines invented in 1891 and flash sheets in parlors—the history of tattooing is vast. National Tattoo Day gives us a perfect excuse to acknowledge all that depth and evolution in one day of celebration.

It was a day of art, energy, community, and yes—ink. Here’s to doing it even bigger next year.
