Dead Coconut Club 2026 at Universal CityWalk: What to Know Before You Go

Halloween season has officially taken over Universal Orlando, and the scares don’t stop when you leave the park.

Dead Coconut Club is back at Universal CityWalk for 2026, transforming the Red Coconut Club into a completely new Halloween experience for the season.

This year’s theme is Dead Coconut Club – Harvest, and things have gotten a little... extraterrestrial.

Whether you’re heading to Halloween Horror Nights, spending the evening at CityWalk or just looking for something different to do in Orlando this Halloween season, here’s what you need to know before you go.

What Is Dead Coconut Club?

Every Halloween season, Universal transforms its Red Coconut Club nightlife venue into the Dead Coconut Club, complete with a new theme, immersive décor, themed food and drinks, music and plenty of photo opportunities.

The seasonal takeover first arrived in 2022 and has become a Halloween tradition at Universal CityWalk.

And Universal doesn’t simply hang a few Halloween decorations and call it a day.

The entire two-story venue gets reimagined around a different story each year, making Dead Coconut Club worth checking out even if you visited during a previous Halloween Horror Nights season.

What Is the Dead Coconut Club Theme for 2026?

For 2026, guests are headed to the fictional town of Midweston for its 35th Annual Harvest Festival.

At least, that’s how the night starts.

The first floor brings the small-town fall festival atmosphere with pumpkins, autumn decorations, a cornfield and plenty of harvest-season details.

But something strange is happening in Midweston.

Unidentified objects have appeared in the sky, strange lights are showing up around town and it quickly becomes clear that this isn't your average harvest festival.

Head upstairs and the theme shifts completely as you find yourself inside an alien spacecraft, surrounded by glowing control panels, cables, specimens and other extraterrestrial details.

It’s part Halloween, part retro sci-fi and exactly the kind of over-the-top seasonal transformation you’d expect to find during Halloween Horror Nights season.

When Is Dead Coconut Club Open in 2026?

Dead Coconut Club runs during the Halloween season at Universal CityWalk from August 28 through November 1, 2026.

Current scheduled operating nights include:

Wednesdays through Sundays
August 28 – November 1

Plus:

Monday, October 12
Monday, October 19

Dates and operating hours can always change, so it’s a good idea to check Universal Orlando’s current schedule before heading over.

Do You Need a Halloween Horror Nights Ticket?

Dead Coconut Club is located inside Universal CityWalk, not inside Universal Studios Florida where Halloween Horror Nights takes place.

That makes it a great stop whether you’re attending HHN or simply spending a night at CityWalk during Halloween season.

If Halloween Horror Nights is part of your plan, Dead Coconut Club also makes an easy stop before or after the event.

What Else Is There to Do at Universal CityWalk During Halloween Horror Nights?

That’s one of the best parts about doing Halloween season at Universal Orlando — your night doesn’t necessarily have to begin and end inside the park.

CityWalk is packed with restaurants, entertainment, shopping and nightlife, including spots like Hard Rock Live, Universal Cinemark, Voodoo Doughnut, NBC Sports Grill & Brew and, of course, Dead Coconut Club.

And if coming home from Orlando with something a little more permanent sounds better than another souvenir, there’s always a tattoo.

Add a Tattoo to Your CityWalk Night

Hart & Huntington Tattoo Co. Orlando is located right inside Universal CityWalk, just a short walk from Dead Coconut Club.

Our Orlando tattoo shop is open daily and welcomes both appointments and walk-ins, making it easy to stop in while you’re spending the day or evening at Universal Orlando.

If getting tattooed is part of the plan, though, there’s one important rule:

Tattoo first. Cocktails second.

Explore our Halloween and horror-inspired tattoos

Alcohol and fresh tattoos aren't a good combination, and our artists will not tattoo anyone who is intoxicated. So stop into Hart & Huntington before heading out for drinks and nightlife.

You can browse our artists and tattoo galleries ahead of time to find a style you like, or simply walk into the shop and talk with the team about what you have in mind.
